Celebrating a Longstanding Partnership at Mang’u High School
Some partnerships grow quietly over time, built through trust, cooperation, and a shared commitment to making a difference. Our relationship with Mang’u High School is one of those partnerships, and Mr. Biwott Dennis Kipruto has played an important role in that journey.
For many years, Mr. Biwott has been TAHMO’s contact person at Mang’u High School, supporting our engagement with the school and helping ensure that our work on the ground continues smoothly. His openness, cooperation, and hospitality have made a meaningful difference to the TAHMO team.
Mang’u High School also holds a special place in TAHMO’s work in Kenya. The school is an ARCUS site and one of the first sites installed in Kenya, Site No. 24. Over the years, it has been part of our growing network of weather monitoring stations and our efforts to expand access to reliable weather data across Africa.
We were therefore especially grateful when Mr. Biwott personally took the time to inform us of his new appointment at the Ministry of Education. While we will certainly miss having him as our day-to-day contact at Mang’u, we are delighted to see him take this important step forward in his career.
His transition is not simply a goodbye. It is an opportunity to celebrate the contribution he has made and the relationship that has been built over the years. We hope that our friendship with Mr. Biwott will continue in his new role, and we look forward to staying connected and sharing updates on the progress of the ARCUS project at Mang’u and across Kenya.
TAHMO sincerely thanks Mr. Biwott for his years of support, cooperation, and commitment. We congratulate him on his new role and wish him every success as he begins this exciting new chapter.
Asante sana, Mr. Biwott, and congratulations on your promotion!
