TAHMO

TAHMO AT CENTRAL UNIVERSITY

At TAHMO, we were excited to engage with students during a mini-symposium at the Central University, focused on the future challenges in #HydraulicEngineering

Our team, led by Dr. Kwame Duah, shared TAHMO’s mission to expand hydrometeorological monitoring stations across Africa, providing reliable, high-quality data for research, climate adaptation, and informed decision-making.

Davide Wüthrich explained the key challenges in Dutch flood protection and presented ongoing research. PhD student Micheal OGUNYEMI shared his work on plastic accumulation at hydraulic structures, including insights on his current fieldwork in Accra.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Dr. Nana Baah Gyan (Dean, School of Engineering and Technology) and Dr. Daniel Ankrah (Head, Civil Engineering) for their warm welcome and support.
Engaging with the next generation of engineers and researchers is central to our mission.
