Kibabii University

Kibabii University (KIBU) is a fast-growing Public University established in accordance with the Universities Act (2012). The University has two faculties: Faculty of Science and of Education and Social Sciences and three Schools namely School of Computing and Informatics, Business and Economics and of Graduate Studies. These faculties and schools offer various courses at Certificate, Diploma, Undergraduate, Masters and Doctoral levels. The vision of KIBU is to be a global university for research, innovation and technology. It has established itself as an emerging Centre of multi-disciplinary research and is striving to build human resources, managerial and institutional capacity to increase research and innovation. KIBU is currently experiencing a remarkable growth in student enrolment as well as development of new market/industry driven programmes and curriculum. The University is keen to work together with a number of public and private institutions, research agencies, companies and organizations in different areas of common interest with the view of advancing the research and development agenda.
