Ngiya Primary

Ngiya Primary school is a Public Day School in Siaya- Kenya. With more than 1000 pupils from Grade 1 to Standard 8. The TAHMO weather station has been a great asset to the institution for enabling learners to access the weather data in the area, analyze the data and relate it with the actual weather conditionsin the area, moreover the station helps in the day to day activities like prediction of the right season for farmers to grow particular crops depending on the trend of the different weather parameters, Planning of school calendar activities and sharing the information with the neighbouring institutions. This has significantly improved learning and performance of the pupils in the Science, Geography and Social studies Classes. Special Thanks to the TAHMO Team in Kenya for the great support.
